Texas Health Hospital Mansfield's Mobile Health Services Bus provides healthcare services throughout Southeast Tarrant and Johnson counties.
The Mobile Health Services Bus provides services to those unable to access healthcare due to a lack of transportation or adequate financial resources.
The Mobile Health Services Bus is overseen by a physician and staffed by a family practice nurse practitioner, a registered nurse, varied allied health professionals, and volunteers.
Current Services and Activities
The Mobile Health Services Bus provides services to those who have difficulty accessing health care due to lack of transportation or health insurance. The mobile health unit provides a wide range of screenings, and immunizations. Cash, check and most credit cards are accepted.

**Immunization fees for children 2 years to 18 years who qualify for the Vaccines for Children program are $10 administration fee per vaccine. This program includes children on Medicaid and CHIP and children who are uninsured, underinsured, or whose insurance does not cover vaccines.
A Family Nurse Practitioner is available at the mobile health unit.
The mobile health unit provides service for patients 2 years and up.
Medical referrals are available for additional services.

Texas Health Hospital Mansfield's Mobile Health Services participates in some of southern Tarrant and Johnson counties' largest health fairs. The mobile unit can provide blood pressure, skin cancer screenings, height and weight, and low-cost screenings for osteoporosis and diabetes. Education is also a large aspect of the mobile unit's participation.
- Flu Shots

Texas Health Hospital Mansfield provides low-cost flu shots yearly from August through February. Last year, the unit gave over 3,000 immunizations against the flu. Check back on our online calendar in mid-August to see where we will be giving shots.

The Mobile Unit provides childhood immunizations to children ages 24 months to 18 years old through the Vaccine for Children initiative and the Fort Worth Public Health Department. Immunizations are given at health fairs, monthly community location sites, local schools, or almost anytime the mobile unit is available.
